Clarinet, Viola, Piano Formed in 2009, the Chihara Trio consists of Anthony Costa (clarinet), Tim Deighton (viola), and Enrico Elisi (piano). The group takes its name from the celebrated American composer Paul Chihara (b. 1938), who has been commissioned to write a new work for the trio that will be premiered in 2009/10. |

Hyuncheong Park, Flute A native of Seoul, South Korea, Ms. Park won top prizes at the Valentino Bucchi International Music Competition in Rome, Italy, the Popputsatkis Flute Competition in Boston, the New England Conservatory Concerto Competition, the National Flutist Association High School Competition, as well as three major competitions in her home country: E-Wha, Chosun, and Dong-A Music Competitions. Ms. Park's career brought her to the USA and Europe, but she frequently perform in Korea as well. |
