Musica Domani
International Composition Prize

The prestigious international adjudicating panel of Musica Domani Prize encourages submissions by composers of all nationalities and ethnicities with no age limit. The competition seeks the selection and promotion of new music through its performance and by means of a live recording. In addition, the competition facilitates the interaction between performers and composers.

Musica Domani
Prize seeks short (up to 15 minutes), original scores for  three categories (including a category for piano, four-hand and two-pianos, one for solo instrumental music, as well as a third category for chamber music with or without piano) for the presentation of awards in 2013.

Works of any notation, style and aesthetic will be accepted except those involving prepared piano and electronics. Composers may send multiple applications (up to three works). The compositions may or may not have been performed before.

Please note that the jury panel of the competition has the right to award all, some, or no prizes and its decision shall be final.
